The "Tale of Despereaux" is about a heroic mouse whose challenge is to save a stunning princess from enormous rats in a dark, gloomy dungeon. In the beginning Despereaux is born with big ears and is different from the other mice. He meets the elegant human princess named Pea and is banned by the mouse council for talking to her. Then the sweet princess is captured by the evil rats. Will Despereaux save the princess or be killed by the rats? This book is filled with outstanding adventure. I think you will enjoy the "Tale of Despereaux".
